  • Lead Systems Administrator responsible for the management of approximately eighty engineering applications including software such as AutoCAD, ProE, Patran, Nastran, Matlab, COMSOL, and others.
  • Responsibilities include network license server administration, application installation, configuration, user support for approximately five hundred users.
  • Repackaging of applications into preconfigured MSI installations.
  • Other responsibilities include development of a web-based software access control system, planning and implementation of reinstallation of all users' applications after the Windows 7 retrofit.

Software Engineer / Systems Administrator

2003-2010
  • Lead Software Engineer on an integrated design environment enabling collaborative engineering between hundreds of users across the NASA Agency, as well as, academia and industry partners.
  • The collaborative engineering environment is implemented as a client-server paradigm which can be integrated into third-party applications, such as Excel, Matlab, etc. through a proprietary API. The client communicates via a secured Internet connection with a database server.
  • Responsibilities include all aspects of requirements gathering, software design, development, implementation, operation, training and support.
  • Hardware support requirements include all aspects of systems administration; specifically server and client installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and security.

Hardware Specialist

  • Hardware and software research, procurement, and implementation in a collaborative engineering environment consisting of multiple computing systems and platforms.
  • Support of multiple video conferencing systems utilizing H.320 (ISDN) and H.323 (IP) protocols.
